What's the difference between white and brown filters?
There isn't a huge difference between these two to be honest. The brown is very simply unbleached paper and there's a chance that some people find a papery taste can appear in the coffee - this is easily solved by rinsing the paper beforehand.
To get the best taste from your Hario V60 filter papers...
Rinse the filter paper with boiling water before use. This will minimise any paper taste getting through to the end brew and allow the coffee to filter through easier. Also, play around with recipes.
